Open Netscape Communicator. Click on the Edit menu and then select Preferences.

Under the Mail & Newsgroups category, select Identity. In the Your name blank, type your name. In the Email address blank, type your full email address.


Under the Mail & Newsgroups category, select Mail Servers. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server blank, type pop.ssmnet.net and in the Outgoing mail server user name blank, type your username.


Click on the Add button that you saw in the previous screen and the Mail Server Properties will appear. In the Server Name blank, type pop.ssmnet.net For the Server Type, select POP3 Server. Type your username in the User Name blank. If you would like Netscape to remember your password, check the Remember password box. Click OK.


After you have opened Netscape Messenger, you can click on Get Msg to retrieve incoming messages.
