New Connection Wizard
Click Start, then select Control Panel

Click on Network Connection

Click on Create a new connection

Enter in area code, click ok

Click ok again

This will start the New Connection Wizard, click next

Select Connect to the Internet, click next

Select Set up my connection manually, click next

Select Connect using a dial-up modem, click next

Enter in ssmnet in the ISP Name, click next

Enter in the phone number,
See List for the phone number in your area, click next

Enter in your username and password, you have to confirm the password,
then select Use this account, default Internet connection and
optional firewall for this connection

Click Finish to close

Goto the top
Settings For SSMNET Connection
Click on Connect to SSMNET, then Properties

Click on Configure...

Change maximum speed to 57600, click ok

Click on Networking, highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), click on Properties

Remove the check for the Use IP header compression, select DNS

Click ok, or For more dial-up options continue, or click ok again

Goto the top
Settings For SSMNET Connection
Click on Options for the redial options, DO NOT TOUCH dialing options

Click on Security for interactive logon and scripting, DO NOT TOUCH Security options

Click on Advanced for Internet Connection Firewall and Sharing, use the Network Setup Wizard
for help and settings, click ok to end settings

Goto the top
Connect to SSMNET
Click on Connect To in All Programs

Click on Shortcut to SSMNET on desktop or

Connect in the Network connections

Goto the top
